North of Meneluinin and Tarkishi lies the Wild, a vast wilderness.
Druids rule the Wildlands, but there's no formal government nor formal rules of any kind, and people invading this area to conquer it generally disappear without a trace, never to be seen again. It takes a lot to get Tarkishians to give up on conquering land, but after various failed attempts, even Helkaerea stopped sending people.
Some say they are eaten by the trees, which is obviously nonsense. However, the area does have quite a few ents, and they are not tame. It is best to bring your own firewood, or better yet, a mage who can create fire from nothing.
