Nation: Plane shifting Voidship. Arrogant, condescending and very, very intelligent, Nation has managed to survive despite being launched without half his equipment and programming, and has evolved over time, learning useful and less-than-useful skills. He guards Talas zealously and also sarcastically.
Talas: Birch Dryad of the Forest. Her hair changes according to the season, and she is charged with maintaining Nation's environment to be congenial for a crew. She doesn't like leaving the Forest, but she does love Nation. Generally she can be found with messy hair and wearing a Nation-crafted sweaterdress. She's afraid of fire and mercurial in temperament.
Allys: Cast-iron bitch, servant of Bahamut. She wears a suit of armor resembling dragonscale. She's also a pretty middle-aged woman with very long blonde hair, generally worn braided. She can generally be found in the company of her elder brother Tarak. Allys is a pacifist and a cleric, but has an extremely aggressive and caustic manner.
Tarak: Recovering alcoholic and Paladin of St. Cuthbert, Tarak carries his paladin papers in his underwear, a greatsword on his back, and a chip on his shoulder. He's got chin-length blond hair and a stubbly chin. His hobbies include reading philosophy, drawing and trying to keep his girlfriend Bellami happy, as well as training Wynn.
Grayson: The 18-year-old version of Tarak, taken from the past by Tiamat. Naive, idealistic and a little bit fretful, Grayson hasn't finished his paladin training and has never gone to war, as Tarak did. He misses his own version of Allys a great deal, likes Wynn and dislikes Valerian.
Bellami: A priestess of Cyrene, a hearth goddess. She gave fourteen children to her goddess and now wants one of her own, to which purpose she has enlisted Tarak's assistance. Imperious, haughty, and inclined to wear extremely revealing clothing, Bellami has retained much of her religious dogma -- which states birth control is wrong and child-bearing is uniquely honorable.
Raven: Pretty, with long dark hair, dressed in red and black, Raven disappeared for a long period of time. He walks with a silver-tipped cane and has a decided limp, and while he seems charming enough, he has some odd mannerisms. He claims he tried to escape a couple of times, which was why he was gone for so long, and apparently, he lived in a forest before the ship.
Flamey: Hellhound friend of Janis, Flamey got onto the ship via a pod, and she attacked the party. Janis won her over with the help of Jhett, and recently Janis and Kestrel have been taking turns caring for her. She understands Infernal. Conveniently, she poops ashes. Inconveniently, she pees fire.
Gnarmak: A gnoll dentist!
Shol: A chaotic soul that had been in Arcadia by mistake, now aboard until we drop him off in Arborea.
Fred: An incubus rescued from a breeding dungeon. He doesn't use his natural form, but instead appears as a handsome, athletic-looking human man with red hair. Now that he no longer has to consume soul-energy he's somewhat careful to avoid situations involving temptation. He hates the idea of hurting people.
Ven: Iskandar's second-in-command from his band of highwaymen pre-Nation. Answers to either male or female pronouns, and wears white. Ven also has an eyepatch over one eye, which may or may not be totally unnecessary. Ven is from Tarkishi, and has some violent-seeming customs, but is extremely loyal to Iskandar.
Arin: Another hitch-hiker, invited aboard by Iskandar. Blue hair and some scales, she's a descendant of a lillend. One of the oldest people on board, she has had number of professions and hobbies through the decades. She dresses and fights in the Rafangian style, wearing very little and intimidating opposition with facepaint and the like.
Kestrel: An assassin and ceiling critic.
Jhett - Aasimar Warlock and musician
Murk- Battlemage of the Order of the 12,321.
Martivir: A black dragon taken from her hoard, Martivir was accustomed to hiding from dragonhunters, so she didn't get out much. Then she ended up in a pod in human form and almost drowned. Since then she's been learning the joys of socialization and humanoids, and has become involved with Aziz. Her hair seems to move on its own sometimes.
Keleska: Half orc illusionist.
True Dagny | |
Jace Carver | |
Tora: A weretiger the group rescued from Andaria, Tora spends a fair amount of time in tiger form, as she is a little bit shy around people. Before she ended up in the defunct Andaria, she was a bookkeeper, and for reasons of her own, doesn't generally talk about that part of her life. She's involved with Iskandar, Ven, Allys and Arin.
Malagaste: Nerdy, scrawny Drow boy; the apprentice of Myr'une.
Lady Myr'une: Frightening Drowish grandmother who can utilize other people's magic.
Porr: Dwarven Barbarian woman, a former slave.
Nibiru: Gnomish bard, a former slave.
Jaken: Human wizard, a former slave.
Inkywing: Tressym with a mage hand gadget! DANGEROUS.
Mask: Janis's hawk companion. Janis must've bonded with him during her lost two weeks, but she honestly doesn't remember. He is named after the demon who was possessing her at the time (they had a weird relationship). |
